Regional HIV/AIDS Connection
Regional HIV/AIDS Connection (RHAC) is seeking a compassionate, strategic, and community-driven leader to serve as our next Executive Director.
For more than 40 years, RHAC has supported people living with, at risk of, and affected by HIV/AIDS and hepatitis C through education, advocacy, harm reduction, and community-based services grounded in dignity, equity, and social justice.
Reporting to the Board of Directors, the Executive Director provides leadership across organizational strategy, operations, finances, people leadership, partnerships, and community engagement. The successful candidate will strengthen RHAC’s impact while fostering a collaborative, inclusive, and accountable organizational culture.

Pay Range: $90,000 - $100,000

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the organization’s strategic and operational direction
- Partner with the Board to advance organizational priorities and sustainability
- Support and mentor staff while fostering a healthy workplace culture
- Oversee financial management, budgeting, and organizational accountability
- Build strong relationships with funders, healthcare partners, government, and community organizations
- Advance advocacy, education, and community engagement initiatives
- Ensure programs and services reflect principles of harm reduction, anti-oppression, health equity, and GIPA/MEPA
About You
You are an experienced and people-centered leader with a strong commitment to community health and social justice.
You bring:
- Senior leadership experience in nonprofit, healthcare, public health, or community-based organizations
- Experience leading teams, operations, and strategic initiatives
- Knowledge of harm reduction, anti-oppression, trauma-informed practice, and health equity
- Strong financial, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Experience working with Boards, funders, and community stakeholders
- Understanding of the realities facing people impacted by HIV/AIDS, substance use, poverty, homelessness, or mental health challenges
- A combination of lived, academic, volunteer, and professional experience will be considered.

We are community inspired and dedicated to positively impacting the lives of individuals and diverse communities living with, at-risk for or affected by HIV/AIDS and Hepatitis C.
